Former Auburn Basketball Player Drowns in Florida

Former Auburn Basketball player, Korvotney Barber has been found dead in Panama City Beach, Florida. Apparently Barber and some friends ran into some trouble while swimming near the famous Panama City Beach restaurant Pineapple Willys around 7pm Saturday night. After an extensive search by the Coast Guard and the local police, Barber's body washed ashore on the beach even though the other two swimmers made it out of the water alive.

Barber played four seasons for the Auburn Tigers (2005-2009) and was a McDonald's high school All-American and in his senior year at Auburn, Barber earned All-SEC second team honors and was named to the All SEC Tournament Team.

R.I.P. Korvotney Barber, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this tragic time.
