Kansas Wants MORE OND AND DONE Players

With the Kentucky portion of the NBA Draft wrapped up, it's time to get to some interesting news outside of Kentucky.

After having two freshman drafted in the lottery tonight (Wiggins #1 and Embiid #3), Bill Self had some interesting comments.

Since the arrival of John Calipari, all Kentucky fans have heard is how Cal does it the wrong way by recruiting one-and-done type players. We've heard all the trash slung our way from, "Kentucky is just a farm league for the NBA" to "Their players only come go to Kentucky because they know they can leave after one year." Plain and simple.... We have taken some strong tongue lashings from other fan bases who thought that their school would never tarnish the college game by taking one-and-done type players.

One of the fan bases that was the loudest over the years was Kansas. Well, now that the draft is over we can safely say that they had two one-and-dones of their own this year and it doesn't sound like that they will be the last.

After the draft, Bill Self was quoted as saying...

"Having two freshman drafted in the top three will no question help Kansas recruit one-and-done caliber players."

So much for their "respect" for the college game as it looks like the coaches recruiting tactics are changing. Do the fans change with him and become hypocrites or do they demand he be fired?
